International Fragrance Day is kind of like Christmas around here at Lore. It’s the day to celebrate fragrance (a little bigger than usual 😉) and everything that we love about it!
We always make a pretty big deal about it here, so the fragrance each team member has chosen to wear to celebrate the day is very important to us. Here’s everyone’s picks…
Celebrating International Fragrance Day with our biggest fragrance launch EVER at Lore (plus one of Jade’s all time top 5 fragrances!) we have Heretic Parfum’s Nosferatu. it’s like rewatching the film through scent. Part spooky and eerie, part innocent and beautiful. With notes of petrichor, purple flowers, oud and resins make this wearable for all…not just lovers of spooky scents!
Jess - Ficifolia Bistro Boy
I am loving this new brand at Lore and Bistro Boy is my fave! It smells and feels so crisp and refreshing with the tomato leaf note as the star of the show. But I also love the way it mellows with the creamy burrata note that gradually comes out, giving us a gorgeous savoury gourmand. I wear it and feel uplifted and relaxed, like I am enjoying a delightful endless brunch!
Laura - Heretic Parfum Dragon's Blood
I just love this fragrance. Dragon’s Blood, of course has the dragon’s blood resin, but there’s also a symphony of other resins in this fragrance. And what I love about it is that its never too heavy or earthy – it’s got this kind of bright, aromatic quality; it’s even a little juicy which makes it wearable every single day.
Courtney – Ficifolia Oh, Darling!
I’m obsessed with this fragrance because it gives me that spark and excitement that we’re bringing on International Fragrance Day. There’s myrrh, rose, peony, jasmine – all of my favourite ingredients – I am excited to sparkle with you all!
Clea – Matiere Premiere Santal Austral
She is bright and juicy; deep and creamy. The almond milk note is just delicious. She’s only got the five notes in the juice, but she is so powerful and really sensual on the skin. I just love Santal Austral.
Flic – Heretic Parfum Cactus Abduction
Cactus Abduction from Heretic is a really fun botanical scent inspired by tripping on peyote in the desert. It sounds like a very mind-altering experience and I love wearing this when it’s hot because its super quenching and invigorating. This is a great little pick me up, and its also good all year round when you want a fresh perspective!
Piper – Room 1015 Hollyrose
Hollyrose is a rose with a little bit of bite. It’s androgynous. What is a rose without thorns? It’s a little bit of everything; it’s delicious, it makes me feel confident and I’m obsessed!
