From BDK Parfums’ Collection Parisienne, where each creation takes the wearer on a journey through the districts of Paris, telling stories, portraying moments and capturing memories along the way. Paris is the anchorage of BDK Parfums, and in this collection, they seek to evoke the charisma and eclecticism of the incredible city where modernity and tradition meet.
312 Saint-Honoré celebrates the opening of BDK’s first boutique in Paris. A creation with a delicate, captivating trail of pink peppercorn, white musk and orange blossom. Woody, musky and floral, this fragrance is inspired by the emblematic raw materials that compose the address: glass, concrete and white Burgundy stone.

“The boutique is a perfect urban haven for the Maison’s creations, while at the same time a refuge from the hustle and bustle of Parisian life. I imagined a fragrance in its image, at once intimate, inviting us to reconnect with ourselves, and luminous, open to the outside world. 312 Saint-Honoré is a sensual, mineral and musky creation, a fragrance for yourself, a skin perfume, carnal but very vertical, where I use and abuse of ambery woody notes. Sensuality also expresses the way I feel about Paris. The fusing pink peppercorn and its peppery leaf, almost incense-like, illuminate the start of the fragrance and are a nod to the sparkling glass that adorns the boutique.” – Perfumer behind the fragrance, Alexandra Carlin.

HOW IT WEARS
312 Saint-Honoré opens with pink pepper, which stays pretty prominent throughout the fragrance’s wear – it provides a brightness but also a coolness which reminds us of smooth, cold marble. The angelica root and iris together add a clean, green, vegetal facet (kind of similar to carrot seed) before the light and airy orange blossom appears, so subtle it’s almost indetectable, adding a little warmth and sweetness to the composition. The dry-down is all about the clean skin musks which is what gives the fragrance that effortlessly cool feel, but also its lasting power. 312 Saint-Honoré lasts 8-10 hours on the skin, imparting a your-skin but chic-er feel the whole time.

LORE LOVES
312 Saint-Honoré is a really different offering from BDK. We love how well it embodies the concept of their physical flagship store, but also how it captures that quintessential cosmopolitan Parisian feel. We imagine an off-duty supermodel – no makeup, just wearing basics, her only accessory a pair of designer sunglasses. An it girl… without even having to try.

ABOUT THE BRAND
BDK Parfums is an independent perfume house founded by David Benedek. Specialising in unique, creative fragrances made up of high-quality raw materials, each scent has its own narrative, its own tale to tell.
One of the youngest designers and house founders in the industry, David was born in 1989 to a Moroccan/Algerian mother and a Romanian father. Fragrance runs in his family – his grandparents opened a perfume boutique in Paris shortly after arriving there from Transylvania in the 60s.
Each BDK fragrance works around a particular raw material, giving it a life and a story of its own. The house is in a perpetual search for flawless raw materials, which is why most concentrates they use are from the Grasse region in France. The creative process is never rushed; new scents are complete when the perfect equilibrium between notes is found, the alchemy perfect.
David wants people to choose their fragrance as they choose a book in a library – by wearing one of BDK’s scents, a person can experience the story of the perfume, and find the link between fragrance and imagination.
BDK Parfums is based in the heart of Paris, Palais-Royal, so the lids of the BDK bottles have been designed to pay homage to the dome of the iconic Grand Palais. The monument holds many French treasures and is perfectly representative of French savoir-faire – of liberté, égalité, and fraternité – perfect for this proudly French house.
