The curtain rises on a state at the corner of 69 rue des Archives, in the Marais, Paris. A place like a frontier, where the old world ends and a new world begins. The pale moon can be seen lowering over the towers of Notre Dame in the distance.
A man and a woman are in a perfumery, surrounded by bottles, debating whether perfume can tell a story of entropy. They discuss whether entropy itself is a good or bad thing. Is it constructive or destructive? Can perfume even begin to communicate such ideas?
Perched on the scaffold before the guillotine, Exit The King is a farewell to the troubled world and the welcoming of a hopeful one. But can the new world exist without the old?

HOW IT WEARS
Opening like a rainbow bubble bursting, Exit the King begins with the fresh spice combination of pink pepper and timur, and of course the soap foam accord. As the fragrance wears a little, its floral heart blooms – green and fresh. The traditional chypre dry-down features patchouli and moss, but also a more modern molecular musk, rendering the finish of the scent both clean and earthy at the same time. This fragrance will last 6-8 hours on the skin.

Exit the King makes you feel like you have just hopped out of a bubble bath, totally relaxed and squeaky clean. This fragrance definitely has a classic feel about it, but its freshness means that it’s never oppressive or dowdy, in fact quite the opposite, as proven by its molecular dry-down.
