Flower Porn is inspired by the back rooms of bustling flower market – a mingling of all of the different flowers in one place, the wet cool feel of the temperature controlled space, freshly cut stems scattered all over the ground, the odd fallen flower crushed as people frantically get themselves prepared for the day ahead.
A fragrance bursting with florals and herbaceous stems, Flower Porn is so bright and verdant it verges on illicit. Fresh-cut orange blossoms, a hint of dewy rose, stiff flower pistils, wet violet leaf, oozing zesty lemon and geranium blooms—all brought to their knees by vetiver, the grounding dom. Soft young petals lick their stamens in this fresh and unadulterated blend of flower-on-flower parfum.
Why is Flower Porn a little more pricey? Creating an opulent blend of floral notes, Heretic Parfum have utilised the decadence of real orange flower and rose absolute. It takes about 500 pounds of rose petals to produce a single ounce of rose oil and 1,000 pounds of orange flowers to make only 6oz. of absolute. These absolutes, being harder and more laborious to produce, is what has driven up the cost of this particular fragrance a little more.
The natural ingredients contained in Flower Porn are known to be sensual and grounding, helping to maintain mental balance and well-being. This blend is associated with the element of Fire and ruled by the Sun. It’s also great for activating the sacral chakra.

HOW IT WEARS
Flower Porn is green, dewy, and fresh throughout the entirety of its wear. Opening bright and spicy, the magic happens in the heart with warm, sweet orange blossom and plush rose. The dry down of green galbanum resin and grassy vetiver truly completes this verdant symphony, which lasts 4-6 hours on the skin.

If you loved the original Flower Porn formulation that we used to stock at Lore, you’ll be happy to know that this iteration of the fragrance is very similar, if not the same (amazing considering it’s made up of natural absolutes and extracts!). The best way to describe this fragrance is it smells like the water in a vase that’s been infused with the scent of stems and blooms. Fresh, floral and green, but also earthy and natural. A great fragrance for those who don’t usually gravitate towards florals, as Flower Porn is truly grounded in nature.
