It’s been 18 years since Juliette has a Gun launched, and it’s been shaking up the niche fragrance world ever since.

In Juliette, perfumer and visionary behind the brand, Romano Ricci, wanted to reconnect with Juliette has a Gun’s essence: “I continuously tried to unravel the many facets of femininity though my creations. “Juliette” stands as a symbol of confident complexity, of proud insubordination. Free and passionate, Juliette leads the dance. This new fragrance invites us to follow her captivating footsteps.” – Ricci.

Ricci’s muse in creating Juliette was dancer and choreographer Soleila Chaou. She’s danced for popstars like Rosalia, Rita Ora, and Aya Nakamura, with a style that sits somewhere between flamenco and voguing. Her magnetic energy is what Ricci wanted to capture in Juliette.

HOW IT WEARS
Opening with bright pink pepper and the cherry note (which smells like a fresh, juicy cherry), Juliette begins sweet and effervescent. As the fragrance begins to dry down, the heart note of jasmine is revealed, which remains prevalent throughout Juliette’s wear. Softly enveloped in cashmeran, tonka, and of course Juliette has a Gun’s signature musky ambroxan, this scent will last 6-8 hours on the skin.

LORE LOVES
We know what you’re thinking… another cherry scent! But in true Romano Ricci fashion, Juliette has turned the cult cherry note on its head. It’s definitely a floral cherry – more akin to a cherry blossom we think, but the addition of sparkling pink pepper and the elusive ambroxan note is what makes it uniquely… Juliette. Vivacious, charismatic and feminine, Juliette not only embodies everything the brand is about, but the very idea of the modern woman!

ABOUT THE BRAND
Created in 2005, Juliette has a Gun is the wonderful fragrance world of Romano Ricci. Born into fragrance royalty, Romano Ricci had perfume in his DNA as the great grandson of Nina Ricci. The Juliette has a Gun range was originally based solely around the rose – like a woman, Ricci says a rose is beautiful, intoxicating, delicate and thorny. The Juliette has a Gun range is contemporary, assertive and full of life. Ricci was inspired by the Shakespearean tragedy, Romeo and Juliette, however the modern Juliette in this story comes armed – she carries a weapon, her weapon is her scent. And she uses her scent for seduction, flirtation and provocation. Juliette has a gun is rock meet romance in a bottle.
