Boy Smells candles are all developed and designed in Los Angeles with fragrance, natural oils, and their proprietary all-natural coconut wax and beeswax blend. The candles are hand-poured in reusable glass vessels and have non-bleached lead-free cotton wicks.

LES
The acronym for one of New York City’s most vibrant cross-cultural neighborhoods—picking up on notes of rice powder, peach blossom, cardamom, cedar and pear, to name just a few of its many notes, much like the bodega and wholesale food suppliers synonymous with the area. All in all, this scent is an unexpected, abundant, cross-cultural, olfactive exploration that reaches far beyond the binary.

HOW IT SMELLS
Les is a sweet fruity number accented by some crisp florals and sprinkled with just a little spice, laid down on a bed of vanilla and creamy, aromatic jasmine rice. We get lots of peach in Les, which has our mouths watering for spring/summer no matter the season we’re burning it. 

ABOUT THE BRAND
In late 2015, Boy Smells began as an experiment in candle-making in the Los Angeles kitchen of co-founders and partners Matthew Herman and David Kien. Herman and Kien began by making the things they’d want to use daily – products that were fluid, essential, but also accessible.
The Boy Smells ethos is all about elevating your intimate world. Packaged in pink and conceived beyond the gender binary, their fragrances – both home and personal – make loving your identity a daily ritual.
Each fragrance draws inspiration from the founders’ memories and experiences, but also takes into account the context and history attached to different smells. Each Boy Smells fragrance is like the complex identity of a person, full of dualities and contradictions, and because of that, wearing them allows you to reinforce your sense of self every day before you walk out the door.
