L’Humaniste Extreme revisits freshness in perfumery, starting on top with notes of bergamot, lemon, pepper and pink berries, enhanced by a liquorous, powerful heart. A fleshy note of quince, a hint of patchouli, melting with a comforting, elegant tolu balm, rounded out by a delightful accord of moss and tonka bean. L’Humaniste Extreme exudes a powerful freshness of elegance and refinement.

HOW IT WEARS
L’Humaniste Extreme opens similarly to the original – a symphony of citrus and fresh green spices. Once it’s had the chance to warm a bit on the skin, that’s where the magic happens. The quince accord, while still bright and zesty, offers an additional richness to the fragrance, enhanced even further by patchouli and the sharp spice of nutmeg. The dry-down of L’Humaniste Extreme is warm and resinous, the balsam resin in paritcular lengthening the longevity of the fragrance, which lasts on the skin for 6-8 hours.

This fragrance has a really sophisticated feel – as Frapin scents tend to. We imagine being in an art deco bar in the early hours of the morning, sitting on beautiful leather lounges, smoking a cigar, sporatically sipping a G&T while engaging in deep conversation.
