Mukta opens with a zesty, vibrant medley of citrus fruits which stays prominent throughout its wear – rare for a citrus fragrance, where the top notes tend to disappear quite quickly. The citrus opening is extended and enrichened by the floral heart of the fragrance, fresh but not too sweet. The intrigue of this scent comes from the black pepper – a tricky note to balance in perfumery. It adds the perfect amount of spice and bite to Mukta without making it too dirty or savoury, and allows for a seamless transition into the earthy base notes. The lasting power of this fragrance is also great for a citrus, we get about 6 hours of wear with Mukta.
