HOW IT WEARS
Probably the most unique fragrance in the ÖRÖK range, VAPOR BLOOM begins with lime, orange and rhubarb before the gas not becomes prominent – mineralic, almost sulfuric. As the fragrance wears, it transforms, revealing warmer, creamier notes. The dry-down is a heliotrope and vanilla fragrance, but not sweet, maintaining that genderless feel. With a 25% parfum concentration, VAPOR BLOOM will last 6-8 hours on the skin.

VAPOR BLOOM is definitely a divisive fragrance, but we love that at Lore! The gas accord is unlike anything we’ve ever seen before and that excites us! Despite how it may sound however, this fragrance is actually really wearable. Understated. Posthuman.

Founded in 2023 by John Domjan, ÖRÖK FRAGRANCES is about sharing narratives of queer joy, diversity, adversity and resilience through scent.
“ÖRÖK” is an homage to Domjan’s heritage, meaning inheritance/legacy/eternity in Hungarian. A fitting name, given each ÖRÖK fragrance aims to capture those culturally inherited experiences we all share, and the threads that connect each of our identities to one another. The ÖRÖK outlook is that fragrance isn’t just an accessory, it can act as a representation of who you are.
A Naarm (Melbourne) based brand, many of the ÖRÖK fragrances are evocative of local queer experiences – nights out clubbing, days at the beach with friends, shenanigans in city gardens. That said, the beauty of this range is that everyone and anyone will be able to find something they relate to within it.
